What is ZENASTRY and who is it for?

ZENASTRY is a space for healing, self-love, and personal mental growth. I provide tools and sessions to help you clear out stress and get back to your true self. These services are open to both men and women who are 18 years of age or older. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and help you move forward with a clear mind and a warm heart. Faith and the Gift: Where Does God Fit Into This?

I am a Christian, born and raised in the Baptist faith. My roots in the church are deep—my Godmother was a preacher who founded her own church, and my grandfather was a Reverend over his own church congregation in South Carolina. I am a firm believer and a follower of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Some people believe that using crystals or studying energy means you are turning away from God, but I am here to tell you that is not true. God created the earth and everything in it, including the crystals. If these natural stones carry healing properties, all the glory and praise go to the Creator, not the creation. You must know who the Source is before you ever step into this work.

Our ancestors in West Africa and the Lowcountry understood this. Even when the Bible was pushed upon them, they found the strength within those scriptures to protect their original traditions. They walked in both realms with discernment and faith, and that is exactly what I do. I am not communicating with random spirits; the only voice I follow is the voice of God. For a long time, I was afraid of these feelings, but God kept speaking to me in my dreams until it was undeniable.

I created ZENASTRY because the same powers that exist in this world are often used against us. If you don’t believe these things are real, you can’t protect yourself. I am saying this with all sincerity: I know how God has shown up for me. I know who protects me, who guides me, and who gave me this intuitive knowing to share with you. This isn’t a “cross-over”—it is a personal self-journey.

Is this Voodoo, Witchcraft, or “Dark” rituals?

No. I do not practice voodoo, witchcraft, or any dark occult rituals but I do enjoy the topics and encourage open discussion on my YouTube channel and everyday conversations. Everything I do is rooted in light, positivity, and the greater good. However, I believe in being aware of all energies—both light and dark—so I can have a balanced foundation and cleared discernment as I navigate through life. I identify as an Intuitive Empath. I have had a “racing mind” and a gift for seeing and feeling things clearly since I was a child.

Where does your gift come from?

My roots run deep into the Gullah Geechee heritage of the Lowcountry in Ridgeland and Beaufort, South Carolina. I believe my intuitive gifts were passed down through my ancestors from the Sea Islands and Nova Scotia. I am currently studying to become a certified herbalist and a Hoodoo/Root Doctor specialist to honor that history. I am not a “guru”; I am a student of this journey just like you, and we are here to learn together.

What are your favorite topics of interest and discussion?

I have a “racing mind” that is always searching for the truth. Because of this, I love diving into deep, mysterious topics that some people might be afraid to look into. On my YouTube channel and in our community discussions, we explore things like:

The Topics: The Mende Tribes, Root Work, Herbalism, Obeah (O-B-E-A-H) a system of spiritual warfare and healing. Like Hoodoo, it isn’t a formal “church” with a building; it’s a practice of using shadows, spirits, and physical charms to bring justice or healing.

Candomblé: This is the massive African-diaspora religion in Brazil.
How it works: It is based on the worship of Orixás (deities). Unlike Hoodoo, which is more about “doing the work” with roots, Candomblé is a formal religion with initiations, drums, and dancing to invite the spirits down to the Earth.
When you look at the “Hoodoo Experience,” it’s a deep gumbo of several different paths:
- Santería (Lucumí): From Cuba. Similar to Candomblé, it blends Yoruba traditions with Catholic imagery to hide the spirits from the masters.
- Vodou: From Haiti. Deeply rooted in the Fon and Ewe people of West Africa. It’s about the “Lwa” (spirits) and the bond between the living and the dead.
- Quimbanda/Umbanda: Other Brazilian paths that deal with heavy ancestral work and the crossroads.
- Ancestral Veneration: Feeding the ancestors so they support your “progression.”
- Protection: Keeping “fugazi” energy and “shady” people away from your space.
- Spiritual Cleansing: Using baths and smoke to clear the trauma of the past.
